The New Atlantis essentially is Bacon’s version of Thomas More’s Utopia. In this text, Bacon describes the island of Bensalem, his vision of humanity’s future. He also describes Solomon’s House, a college based on the Baconian method of conducting experimental research (which would later contribute to modern scientific method).
