Plato

A philosopher of ancient Greece, and a pupil of Socrates and a teacher of Aristotle, Plato's ideas have had a great influence on the philosophers who followed him and on much of the history of the western world.

Many of Plato's works also make reference to the life of Socrates, and the events leading to his teacher's death.
